Waipukurau Construction Ltd built our home, Driftwood Lodge, at 44 Grey St, East Cive, during the course of 2005.
We have no hesitation in recommending the firm for other building projects. Builders, contractors, and owners collaborated happily on this project and reached the end on
very good terms. We commenced negotiations in November 2004 and Driftwood Lodge was completed in May 2005. This is due in no small part to the “let’s get it done” attitude of Gordon and his team. Any issues which arose during the course of
the building were resolved quickly, amicably and fairly, and this attitude was continued after the completion of the project. Any small problems are fixed promptly and efficiently.
We were also very happy with the extremely efficient administration and good communication of Gordon’s office staff. All changes, additions, deletions to the contract were dealt with in a way that ensured we knew what was happening and why.
We were extremely impressed with the extras we received: a folder containing all manuals, brochures and guarantees which had been assembled during the course of the project; and on completion commercial cleaners cleaned the house before we moved in.
It was important for us that our house was finished on time, and Gordon, Ian (Project Manager) and his team worked very hard to achieve that. All hands were on deck for some very long hours during construction and all was ready on time.
Gordon had an excellent team of builders on this project, and his contractors were of a very high standard. When a problem arose Ian worked very proactively to solve it. The contractors have all shown themselves willing to provide continuing service, which was also important to us.
We are thrilled with our finished home and rank Waipukurau Construction with the very best.
