This new home was a project built in Otane in 2019. The owners’ required two bedrooms, office, ensuite (125m²) and stand-alone double garage (47m²). Constructed on a concrete raft floor, there is plenty of storage with a large walk-in-wardrobe, pantry and linen cupboards. An expansive north facing verandah incorporates a timber deck with skylights overhead. A sun tunnel brings more natural light to the dining area. Home heating is provided by a fireplace and heat pump air conditioning unit and the home’s hot water supply is via an energy-efficient heat pump hot water system. The concrete driveway and path work was also included in the contract.
